It works out in the end but I don’t understand counsel’s thought process at all there. Use up your best reliever for the 8th inning with a 4 run lead. I get playing to win the game at hand but then you pull him after throwing 8 pitches? Leaving the rest of the pen to win the gm so you can save him for tomorrow. Either save him until you need him or go all in and have him close it out imo
