my hatred for MY team clouds my judgement
- In years two through five of this Agreement, the players' share in dollars may not be less than it was in the previous year.
NHL won't like that one.
NHL won't like that one.
So the NHL pulled a Fehr and just slid the previous offer across the table.
Just means no to the PA offer. I think a good day overall. Sides now have defined sides. They can now say "i'll move this if you move that" There are end zones so they know about where the middle is.
The PA not wanting a decrease in any year must go. And several of the contrating items most exsist in some form. If the NHL ups the slush fund money closer to the PA end I think they could get that
Don Fehr: no movement today.
From a purely selfish standpoint, missing a full season would give the Flames a better chance at a high draft pick (and help with the rebuild/reload).
Even ex-NHL players are getting in on the fun (time for another apology?)
