Here it is the off season, why not pick up a few things new to you? Trust me once the seasons starts no more track talk.
If we wanted to talk about baseball, hockey, tennis...we'd go to those forums dummy not here.

So we should trust you? Just like we trusted you weren't going to post for a week?

Phony

Ah, Ronnie Baker, Justin Gatlin, Mike Rogers, weren't there, ok? No Trayvon Bromell.

Well if you saw the race did it go exactly like I said it would, yep! He could run with them up to around 60;ishm then they started puling away why...............speed endurance.

So you have learned something, yes the 100m takes endurance....speed endurance.
It takes speed endurance not endurance, Skippy. It's over in 10 seconds. Go read the definition of endurance.
Confirmed - DK Metcalf is still fast
But he's not speed endurance fast. Take him out to pasture and shoot him.

Because no one wants you here talking track, Phony

Why this need to ignore who these NFL athletes really are?

You need to stay simple, why?

Did ya know Ezekial Elliott was a Missouri State hurdles champion?

Bo Jackson an Alabama decathlon champion?

Terry Bradshaw a national class javelin thrower?

Why not know all you can like I do?

1964 Florida A&M 4x1 relay

Alfred Austin 9.5....owned Bob Hayes in high school until his senior year****
Bob Paremore 9.4.....running back on the Rattlers football team. the Cards gave him a look....nope!
Al Denson 9.6 WR on the football team, had a good career with the Broncos
Bob Hayes ...nuff said!

**** Hayes lost to Jimmy "Peach Head" Douglas his senior HS season. Douglas a red headed black guy,
And the only sprinter to beat Hayes he didn't get his revenge on, before they ever raced again "Peach Head" was gunned down in a gang related incident in Jacksonville.

Love that kind of thing.

So I read up on FAT (fully automated or automatic times) and it makes all of the hand times and also historic supposed FAT obsolete and inaccurate.

The standard used is that hand held times add a 0.24 but many reviewed historical examples show hand held times have errors of up to or even over 0.6 seconds (some examples had over 1 second of error) and essentially always were timed faster, not slower.

The FAT technology, though used as far back as the 1928, was not considered fully accurate until 1992. Uses of FAT before 1992 would not be considered realistic because they do not meet the today's criteria. Even many of today's systems used, such as Sprint 8 or Time Machine, do not meet the criteria and therefore cannot be used on a professional level.

Today's criteria:
1. The FAT timing device must be activated automatically by a start signal, rather than manually (e.g., like with a stopwatch or a computer key stroke).
2. The finish time must also be captured digitally (picture or video) to remove any human error or delays from the equation.
3. Most importantly, the finish line results must be accurate to at least 1/100th of a second.

So basically historical numbers shouldn't be used as a basis of comparison as they could possibly be way off from reality.

Well since you've assuredly already asked Siri/Google before posting the question... Maybe you can just fill us in & save us the time?

Try finding my footbalers there using Siri/Google, it can't be done.

We have a cornerback....who?

We have a 400m cat who sent a video of himself to Al Davis.

We have a stud cornrback who was converted to a RB as a pro,

We have a 1000 yard rusher.

We have a Heisman winner.

A world class hurdler.

Siri/Google totally useless in this.
