I don’t understand the surprise. Pretty obvious that DJ wasn’t going to play football at Clemson next season.

Even without the transfer portal, DJ wasn’t going to go back to Clemson because him sitting on the bench doesn’t help him in the least. And he was was going to be sitting behind Klubnik next season.

Look at Alabama a couple years ago. No different that Hurts having to go to Oklahoma because he had been supplanted by a young Tua.
