You definitely will be ranked top 10, and wouldn’t be shocked it you’re top 5. I don’t see a really competitive game on your schedule till mid October when you go to LSU.

Georgia plays Clemson and Alabama in September.

Alabama is at Wisconsin and plays Georgia in September.

Michigan has Texas, USC, and is at Washington by mid October.

Texas plays Michigan and Oklahoma by mid October.

Really, it seems like most teams that have the potential of being ahead of them in preseason will be facing a real possibility of having a loss by mid season. Ole Miss could be #1 or #2 by the time they play LSU in October.

I would bet a lot of money that there is truth to them leaking this out just to renegotiate a bigger NIL deal. It will become the new norm in college football until they get some rules in place.

I think I’m starting to warm up to the transfer portal. The days of guys getting buried on the depth chart or stuck on an inferior team are now over. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely needs a lot more regulation, but I do like that players have an option now.
