Had it been 18 years since your team last won a playoff series?

You’re awful judgmental when you’ve never had to endure your baseball team choking in the playoffs every year, watch the local NFL team blow a 28-3 Super Bowl lead or the top college draw in the state get beat in the national championship game by a second and 26 play in overtime.

People in the state are hungry for a championship. I’m not in the kill Freddie crowd, but I understand where the people who are are coming from.
It's only a game dude.

In 2002 it had been forever since the team won a world series in San Francisco, because they never had.
My point is not about how tortured a fan base is, it's about not feeling tortured by sports at all. It's just sports.

Sports should be enjoyed regardless of the outcome. Folks that agonize over a loss have serious emotional problems.

I agree, I’m just saying I know where these people are coming from, and I was pretty damn clear about that.

Just saw one guy at the stadium take off his Kershaw jersey and throw it onto the field and walked out... Security just stood there starring at him like, "Dude, you are a moron"

What do you expect from Dodger fans? I recently heard a stat I made up that indicates approximately 83% of Dodger fans are convicted felons.
83% of Giants fans are gay.

Winning is better than losing, but it's still nothing to get too worked up about

I'm sure a lot of Dodger fans are hoping Dave Roberts is next. Dude is basically the Marty Schottenheimer or Andy Reid come playoff time.

“I’m mad at you, so I’m gonna destroy my own stuff”

Logic only a Dodger fan could understand.

I haven't been following the Houston/Tampa series closely enough--Is there any potential for jersey burning/bobblehead decapitation or anything cool like that? I can't imagine any kind of strong reaction if the Rays lose. They seem to be doing it with smoke and mirrors and a 65 million payroll.

I went to a game at Dodger Stadium a couple of times.

I never realized they had a fan that cared about what happened on the field.
