Ironically, Iowa State was the only school in the Big 8 who would not accept Prop 48 partial qualifiers.

Non qualifiers playing happened under Jim Criner who probably was the only Big 8 coach caught at the time. Those were the days my friend -

The bad old days for ISU: got caught cheating and still sucked! I think the non-qualifier approach started as a reaction to the Criner Error.

Either way, I am very happy with the current direction of the program, and I hope it continues upward!
