push his heisman status
No. But the Heisman is a joke anyway, so it might would be fitting.
Invite him just for the hell of it, but no he isn't winning it. He has no shot at all
Why? Have you looked at what he has done?
Have you looked at who he's played against?
That's bs. Ask Oregon how hard it was to beat Arizona? Or Oklahoma St how hard it is to beat WVU? Ask Florida how hard it is to beat Georgia Southern? Or #5 Michigan vs Appalachian St a few years back? Etc...
Winning is hard and going 12-0 is even harder. The kid has taken his program to places it has never been before.
Check the record books: No FBS or FCS QB has ever rushed for more than 321 yards in a game. This kid did it when there was snow and ice all over the field with high winds, and the opposing D knew he was going to run.
Check the record books: No FBS, FCS, Div 2, or Div 3 QB has ever rushed for 2000 yards in a season. Lynch may do that this year. He already has the FBS record and will certainly break that again this year.
He will do all this while still passing for more yards than your beloved McCarron this year.
No, what is bullshit is you cherry picking a game here and there and acting like it's the entire season.
Iowa is the best team they've played. They won by 3 points, 30-27 and their entire offense has only 438 yards.
But yeah, he had a great game against 1-10 UMass.

WMU is a 1-11 team that has the #120 rush D, 6th-worst in the country. Anybody could run all over them. Passing v WMU, Lynch was 5 of 17 (29%) for 39 yards, 2.3 yds per pass
vs WMU, Lynch only had 360 yds of total offense. Undefeated Fresno QB Derek Carr is averaging 405 of total O per game, #1 in the country
Is approximately 4500+ total yards, 45+ tds, with only 5 ints, and a 13-0 record cherry picking a game or two?
