Would have been interesting seeing Troy Polamalu vs. the Tush Push. Fun matchup.
Grow a pair.Implied homophobic thread title just like the culture/religion/people you support in the eternal Hebrew/Muslim war.
I dont really see anything to suggest injuries are the issue, either.I think it is reasonable to be concerned about the safety of the tush push play, but so far, there is zero evidence that it leads to injuries. The sample size is too small and there are no examples to date.

NFL says there were no injuries on tush push plays in 2024
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni called talk of banning the tush push play that his team has made a staple of their offense "unfair" earlier this week and took particular aim at arguments that the play was unsafe.www.nbcsports.com
Those are big dreams and that would be great but winning is hard. A few issues and they’re the Bucs or Rams. Eagles fans thought this was the Way with Wentz 2017 season prior to injury.I dont really see anything to suggest injuries are the issue, either.
How many times has the tush push been stopped when the Eagles LT has been in the game? If its a play thats too successful then it'll just get boring. That would be the issue imo.
Neither the Bucs nor the Rams were built to last with their Super Bowl wins. You guys are set to run the NFC for the next 3 to 5 years.
Sound...........zestyPretty stupid if you ask me. They even had their own version of it and called it the Love Shove.
Eagles were an older team IIRC after their last SB win. You guys have a really young D and its maybe the best in the league. Those are big dreams and that would be great but winning is hard. I hope they ban it at this point for just the reason you said. Wins and championships are great but forever is a story for my grandkids someday that your Philadelphia Eagles perfected a play to such a great extent the National Football League had to ban it. That shit is legend. That shit is forever
Also, the '17 Eagles were a bit of a fluke. They were 7-9 the season prior and didn't look the least bit like Super Bowl contenders, which is probably why they came crashing back to Earth over the next few years.Eagles were an older team IIRC after their last SB win. Even if the play gets banned, Sneak and QB scramble will still win games. Chiefs changed the league with so many 2 high shells. I think defenses probably need some more fundamental adjustments to the Eagles, Ravens and Bills. Chiefs offense has been grounded.
Eagles did have to rebuild their defense which is why I wasnt high on them entering the season. I thought the Eagles would have one of the best offenses and one of the worst defenses. Turns out, you can turn around any unit if you nail 4 or 5 draft picks and a couple of FA moves. Also, the '17 Eagles were a bit of a fluke. This team had been in the playoffs the previous three years and to a Super Bowl two years earlier.
Foles was good enough for catching lightning in a bottle for short periods of time. In this case, it lasted about a full month. In 2013, it was for 3/4s of a season (he didn't start the first month).Eagles did have to rebuild their defense which is why I wasnt high on them entering the season. Winning a Super Bowl with Nick Foles (or Carson Went) is absolutely a 1 in a million kind of thing. I saw plenty of Nick Foles on the Rams and Chiefs. Thats not a guy you should expect to win the biggest games.
He threw 55 TDs and 45 Ints for the rest of his career outside that one year. I always figured that Chip Kelly was the reason for that year.Foles had one of the weirder careers you will ever see, but he had 26 TDs and 2 Ints one year. When he was hot, he was very good, but he was very hot and cold in his career, and I think honestly he was a guy who would lose confidence in himself and struggle.
I wouldnt mind seeing an exhibition game where defensive players can pick up offensive players, run the other direction, and get Safetys. I think that would be fun.So it should be banned or allow defense to do the same
I for one am getting a lot of amusement already out of the NFL immediately introducing electronic 1st downs after a failed tush-like push. Those are big dreams and that would be great but winning is hard. A few issues and they’re the Bucs or Rams. Eagles fans thought this was the Way with Wentz 2017 season prior to injury.
