why not?

obviously he hasnt been around the team the way mays, mccovey, and cepeda have, though im sure some it has to do with the team wanting to distance itself from his issues. but he was a giant for 15 years, and kept fans interested and showing up during some pretty rough times. i remember going to a game in 07 when he was working on catching Aaron. the stands were full. i was there the night after he broke the record and it was empty.

i believe he should have been on the field.

idk. i could be biased. i was three when he joined the giants. my earliest sports memory is of him dancing on the dugout in candlestick. i was there for 73 and a few other big homers. i would have loved to see him out there.
