Getting hit
I agree, there is no right or wrong way. My point is solely based on what I would like to see the team do. Until JG starts texting me for my opinion during the games it remains just that!!!I'm not saying one way is right and the other is wrong. I think if you pass on first down it keeps the defense on its heels. Maybe I'm wrong. Also, we don't have that sledge hammer back this yr
I wish you were the owner, it would be like when Steinbrenner used to call the dugout all pissed off during the middle of games telling the coaches to pull a pitcher...I wish I knew his number. I would sure attempt to call lol

Read an article today that said Dez's holdout during camp help Dallas a lot with this situation. The other receivers got more reps in the offense they normally wouldn't have gotten had Dez not held out. Said although Dez's injury is bad news for Dallas, they are very prepared. We shall see, but I think this team will be fine.
FWIW..Roddy White said he thinks Dez is done for the year.
The time they held Julio out for the year was also the 2nd time Julio had that injury. First time was in college, which he most likely had the same surgery Dez just had. It was a little different the second time around.
It's possible Dez is out until December. I'd imagine they will take it slow b/c we have playoff aspirations and will need him then (and possibly the end of the season). If we stand 5-7 come December - I bet we'll shut him down for the year. I don't think we'll go 4-7 without him, but anything can happen.
Yeah. To me the hold out was very evident. I'm sure it had something to do with the hammy problem, so the combination held him back. You could see he didn't look the same during the game. He needed an IV. Even a guy in as great of shape as Dez isn't in Football shape. But a hold out doesn't soften your bones. I guess it's possible he was dragging it and that is when you get injuries, so there could be a correlation. Not sure how holding out caused a broken bone. Besides it was more about his hammy that kept him from practicing.
Sometimes is as simple as walking or running differently to ease the pain on the injured portion of the foot that impacts another portion and causes a second injuryWas concerned something like this might happen. I am certainly no doctor, but injuries like this if not properly healed before being put through stress again can have a negative systemic effect on other body parts. In this case it was the ankle. Perhaps the bone in his foot not being fully healed allowed other bones connected to the broken bone to get out of proper alignment? Thus causing the ankle issues.
