I think he'll learn to balance his statements with a healthy respect for his teammates. I don't actually consider it disrespectful even. As CJ Anderson himself said, "what is he supposed to say?" Anderson and Booker are going to cause some problems for defenses and as they do I see a healthy rivalry brewing. "Break one for 25 and a TD? I'll break one for 30 and a TD!" That sort of thing.

Yeah I don't mind players talking as long as they back it up. I think most of us on here lived through the Shannon Sharpe years where the guy wouldn't shut up. Heck some of his own teammates got after him because he would upset the wrong people that he didn't have to face on a down by down basis. Yet he went out and had a HOF career to back up those words. So long as he goes out there and does great on the field I don't think his teammates will mind one bit of him talking like this.

My only worry would be is that cocky attitude sometimes can rub guys in the lockerroom the wrong way. AS long as he doesn't act like that around his teammates I think it will be just fine.

We can never have enough Booker threads, and I like that the man is confident. A healthier CJ, improved OL and Booker and keeping Hillman off the field are going to help our run game tremendously.
