I know I am in the minority around here because I don't mind Zids, but do others agree that he is one of the better players out there tonight?
On our team, he has the best offensive instincts for any defenseman in the lineup.

Guys that I've liked so far tonight, Brunner, Ryder, Jagr, Salvador, Loktionov. All have been noticeable and doing their jobs.

He has been good tonight no doubt. I do wish they would have kept Gelinas though speaking of offensive instincts

You can tell Brunner will be a very solid pickup. The guy knows where to be, can pass, and has good hands and skating ability.

Agree on Gelinas, but this is the lineup they gave us. Just think there are others back there to beat up on besides Zids. He is no Ken Klee.

Agree. Salvador shouldn't be pinching in regardless who he is paired up with though.

This game is only close because of our fuckups. Bad turnovers have to be cut down, I feel like that was a problem last year. Sloppy play has led to their goals, not them outplaying or outperforming us.
