Seems our fore-check has got them on their heels a bit. I see them really getting after us back on their home ice. Hopefully the Devils can weather the Orange shit storm & finish this thing.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux faces a hearing Monday morning with the NHL's Department of Player Safety for his illegal check to the head penalty against Dainius Zubrus at the 19:56 mark of the second period of their Eastern Conference Semifinal against the New Jersey Devils on Sunday night.

I don't think he'll get suspended, MAYBE fined.

I agree 100 percent giroux is not a dirty player he got caught in a heat of the moment dirty play.First part of his statement wasn't bad I think he may have been better off saying he isn't a dirty player and its not a play he usually makes.Would have been better off not saying Zubrus leaned in or trying to divert attention toward volchenkov and simmonds.That part came across as a little kid who just got caught doing something wrong.Don't get me wrong I have a lot of respect for giroux just not his actions last night.Still cant say its suspension worthy

Giroux should shut up, saying that Zubs was leaning forward pretty much meant, yeah i saw an opportunity and finished my check... just shut up. don't make it worse!

Let's go Devils, believe me, anything ego related is far from these guys' personality/character.
