Detroit Tigers Ongoing 2016 Thread

Too be truthful, Ausmus has made many mistakes so far.

1. Signed Justin Upton who leads the AL in strikeouts. (I have seen Ausmus signal J-Up to fan several times)
2. Signed Pelfrey AND has had the audacity to USE him.
3. He has told JD Martinez to hit below .240 and drive in only 11 runs.
4. He has DEMANDED that Jose Iglesias total TWO extra base hits so far this season.
5. He signed K-Rod and strongly suggested to him to keep his fastball UNDER 90mph
6. Forced Anthony Gose to totally suck as long as Cameron Maybin was injured.
7. Used his relief pitchers almost every game - because his starters SUCKED. (On his orders?)
8. Did not know what wedding gift to give Justin and Kate, causing needless trips to mound!

Add those up....he'll be fired by Monday, game time. (Lamont takes over, as soon as he empties buffet table)

I'm not going to get into an argument with you on the many mistakes Ausmus HAS made, but don't act like he is completely absolved of this mess. It's not like you can fire Avila at this point anyway, or the players.

Batting Mike Aviles 2nd? Starting Romine in CF? Putting in Joba in 2014? But I guess you ignore all that shit because you think all managers are pristine.

Big Lloyd has the Mud Hens rolling with a 13-14 record so far. Team .237 BA.....so he would be use to cold bats. Of course, I'd be pulling for Gene Lamont to get that last big shot at the manager's seat. He hasn't managed since 2000. But the key is...he is only 9 games under .500 as a manager. If the Tigers got hot.....just maybe he could get to .500 for his W/L record and retire. As soon as he does retire....name Tyler Collins as player manager!

Cabrera probably rests one of the three games. Career marks aside, it's tough to bench your hottest hitter (Castellanos).
