He is not far off. On pace for 35 on the season as of now.

What a shame that Stanton is out for the year again. Atleast Ichiro will start everyday and possibly prove that he is still an everyday player. So I'll still watch their boxscores.

I guess I didn't realize that. Kinda been hoping he'd get more walks and up his OBP over 400. Want to see him get 30 doubles, 30 homers 100ribbies and a 400 OBP. Didn't really think 40 homers was within reach. But Id love to see it.

If this team wasn't so shitty on the basepaths theyd be scoring a lot more runs. Kinsler, Miggy, VMart, and JD all are having nice years. And Nicky before he went down.

Why do people rag on Miggy?

Largely because he is a one dimensional ball player, who has had some personal problems. Not an unusual situation. Sabermetric guys will never get behind players like Miggy or VMart, or even Pujols now. When you are a one dimensional player, when you slump, you can't make up for it with quality fielding or good base running. Just human nature.
