start of the biggest series of the year at home. We have DFK in center and Romine at SS. Myself I can't imagine why we aren't in first place.

Oregon finally looks legit. Sparty is a smash mouth football. Oregon took took the hit. Always seemed soft until now. They may be in the convo come playoff time. They beat a very sound team tonight.

Sparty couldve won if they would of made a play or 2 they didnt...the score wasnt even close to the way the game was....

With sparty up 27-18 in third. On 3rd down cook was rushed and threw to FB pendleton. Threw it to his feet tho...nobody was over there. Wouldve changed game....we wouldve been in at least red zone and chew up more clock...but on oregons next possesion on a third down we missed a sack on mariotta and he hit his RB for a huge play....then it all went down hill.....i believe cook makes that one pass and we win....couldve went up 34-18.....but oh well....i didnt expect to win in oregon...at least we didnt get smashed 31-0..

Not a fan of the smack talk threads.....Just younger kids....I don't have time for it, and the Lions board seems to have turned into it.

Actually it was the older guys from CBS. I stopped going when the AL EAST fans came in to stir shit up...but i miss dougies dumb funny shit....in fact i should stop in to ask him about hoke

Didnt a couple of y'all throw miggy under the bus a couple of weeks ago? Just like vmart, JV and porcello last year? Feel free to throw shitty players under the bus such as raburn, valverde, nathan, coke etc. but theres no reason to throw the faces of the franchise under the bus because they are slumping.

I wouldnt say i threw him under the bus....but i was critical of him hitting singles for a whole month while his avg dipped to .301.....if that had been fielder hitting only singles a whole month....people wouldve brought up how much he makes.....its not like miggy has carried us home yet....one of the reasons were 2 gms behind KC was because of miggy and his lack of power. When him and vmart dont come thru, we usually lose 5-9 is nothing to trust.....this team is still under performing. Good thing its baseball, where all u have to do is make the postseason...

If I recall not many posters wanted Miggy out of the lineup. Most just wanted him to DH . His D at 1B was v ery limited.

Way to go JV.

Hope ausmus took notes on how to bunt runners over and play small ball

Way to get that shut down inning

whats the number for today. How many runs will the offense have to score for JV. Am I alone in thinking maybe kyle ryan should start today.

Ha! Love it!

7-2 good guys. Even Romine and Avila get hits. Seven so far in the third.

sloppy D from KC today. Tigers have to find a way to get this win today. error on Hosmer leading to 2 runs earlier. Than Hosmer letting that ball hit of his glove with Miggy on first, a sure DP and Omar not turning the DP soon after. Really a little luck on KC's side and we could have no runs. Maybe KC starting to feel the pressure of being in first.

Sweet inning lets see if its enough for JV!!

Starting out good for a great day in detroit. Ahhhh the thoughts of sitting at the tigers game with a MNF ticket in the pocket for the late game.
