Why was the injuns royals game suspended and not a final last week? Injuns scored 2 in the 9th and took the lead. During innings it rained. Shouldve been game over. What special rule am i missing?

Actually the 10th. Gordon had a HR to tie in 9th. Injuns scored 2 in top 10th crew started pulling the tarp between innings. It was a certain it was going to rain and I thought it was stupid to even start the top half. I will say if the Royals lose by one game...grounds crew will haunt them all winter.

It rained buckets all night afterward basically. So making up the bottom half of the 10th in Cleveland on the 22nd. A walkoff on the road would be something new.

Agreed, but it's not like the Tigers got better, the Royals just got worse......Nothing like backing into the playoffs because another team suffered an injury......I don't get a warm fuzzy over it.

whatever it takes to get in. Tigers are trying to be the exception to the rule. Being a team in the bottom third in defense to get in.

Top 10 in defensive effeciency are M's, A's,Reds, Angels, O's, Giants, Padres, Ray's, Cards and Royals.
all looking at the playoffs except the Rays, Reds and padres.

Bottom 10 ( worst to better) are Tribe, Rangers, Tigers, twins,Marlins, D backs, White Sox, Astro's, Rockies and Yanks. Only the Tigers have a realistic shot of getting in.

Just hard to win with suspect defense.

no one feeling sorry for the Tigers with Soria and sanchez on the DL. Royals get no sympathy from me.
