Sure couldve used another hitter or three at the trade deadline. Our catcher cant hit. Our OF's cant hit. Ill give rajai credit tho. But the rest? Our 3B hits every blue moon. Same with our SS. Add in miggys off year and wow. I really dont like our offense much.

Great game it was. Love LLWS!! They had both been scoring some major runs along the way. Granderson played his LL for that club. That team is now my team to cheer on in Williamsport. Every now and then I like a dark horse from international teams that are underdogs, then I actually pull for them.

That Castleman kid from New Albany the 1B today and also pitched other day. Could see a Todd Frazier highlight reel one day in majors.

Them Chitown kids were tall and big Midwest city kids.

why are you dumping on Suarez and Nick C if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a win in Toronto...they aren't supposed to be 300 hitters. ...hitting .250 to .260 is what they do.....shit they are rookies....the guys are supposed to be hitting 300 aren't carrying the team....why they haven't brought McCann up from Toledo is beyond me.....this is still a good team you should take a pill or smoke something......it's only August

need cabrerra to start hitting. That is the key. Can't really replace Avila. There are only 2 above defensive players on the team. Kinsler and Avila. I guess you could say 3 and add Suarez to the list, although he hasn't had enough chances to really say he is. LD Martinez is a below average OF and if he continues to slump may have to go with Davis in left and Carrera in CF. Martinez 13 for 64 since the break.

Maybe not replace Avila but replace Hollady and let McCann play more and see what he can do....wouldn't hurt

What a joke of a team. Never seen a team so bad in the 9th inning. Everytime joba comes in for a save he blows it. Let the excuses rain down. Cant win a WS with NO BP

The extra out given because the second baseman did not hold the tag on the runner during the steal attempt cost the tigers. Just fundamental things and the 0 heart tigers blow it again. Games not over yet.

Price better learn to go 9 if he wants wins. 5-0 lead wasnt big enough. Dont see the tigers scoring another run today. Once they got up 5-0 they shut it down. Hard to start back up. Wonder how long before KC grabs first back.

Dumping on? I said they hit every blue moon. Is that not true? I thought people had higher hopes from nicky c than 250-260. Thought he was a stud to be. 250 is connor gillespie joe crede type numbers. I would of traded nick instead of avisail is hes only going to hit 250-260 with limited power. Not saying he should have great numbers but hes really not a rookie anymore... Its august. As far as suarez. I didnt expect much from him to start with. Plus he cant play everyday. Then we get romine. Its a weak position for us.

All im saying is a lineup with nicky c avila suarez/romine jd martinez rajai and tori doesnt compete for a WS. Especially with no BP.
