Has it been confirmed that Iglesias is out for the season? Thought there was a chance of him coming back late. I'm still not buying the shin splint explanation.....Hell I had them and they suck but 5, 6, 7 months....I ain't buying it.....I bet we find out he has a bone disease or something, it sure is hell ain't shin splints!

Woah Woah Woah, put the brakes on Gandy......I had to fight off the Leyland lovers for years......I'm still doing the same thing on the Lions board with Certain players......

But some think everything is rainbows and cupcakes over there with certain guys.

I liked Leyland just like I did Schwartz. To much dumb shit and I am done.

The one guy I defend with Lions is chef boy r dee. He makes the right calls and hard to find just anyone to play C. I also screamed for a C in draft and got the one guy I did not want.

I would not complain if they signed Stephen Drew to a pro-rated deal after the Rule 4 Draft in June.
He would provide a significant upgrade to the team's current situation at short, and having one more bat in the lineup could pay dividends in October.

Tigers will have a new SS by the end of July... whether that is Drew, Suarez, or another guy brought in at the deadline... who knows.. but there will be someone else starting. Not that I see Worth or Romine as an issue as they both have played well defensively. The Tigers don't need to waste prospects on the position... they can win with a weak hitting ss.

I see DD adding a lefty to the bullpen by trade and maybe a bat... Tigers have a few mid level prospects to burn and even a top level guy like last years top pick Crawford could be used without much of an issue to depth. Tigers have a complete STUD starting pitching prospect in Jake Thompson. That kid is turning into a freaking beast. Watch out next year... he will be shooting up the prospect rankings and be all over everyones radar soon.

Any offense Romine adds is a plus. Only problem is there is none. I will take the defense, but give us something in the .240+ range.

With Avilla and Nicky struggling it makes it more noticeable. Need to see more Worth and Don Kelly in the lineup.
