is this the biggest no show in post season history? has to be a Detroit record.

the worst part. if you look at the Tigers record of scoring runs in Fenway the last 7 years...its bad. not micheal Jackson bad. basd like matt millen bad.
Tigers just cant score runs at fenway.
we need Max and Justin to carry the day AGAIN

Why not move him in the lineup to take pressure off. I would bat Hunter, Cab, Mart, peralta, jackson, fielder etc I really would like igasious to lead off,

Okay, maybe I should have said 7 inning games rather than CGs.

Lester does have a good bullpen behind him, so the Red Sox don't have to risk wearing him out.

He is quite capable of going 9 most days. And will go 7 strong innings more often than not.

Well I was 0-3 last nite.....Prince was awful , Tigers down a game going to Boston and vcash busted. ....got a day to regroup ......why is Iffy back here?

Tigers can still win this. They simply need to put up a crooked number inning, early in each game. I can picture Detroit taking both games.

I think it is good they are playing these last two (hopefully) on the road. With Prince and AJ getting booed it might do them some good. Prince is really feeling the pressure of having Miggy hurting and I would consider switching them in the order. Miggy is still respected and Prince might get some better pitches.

Either way, I hope it goes seven just for the fact that I want to see JV pitch another deciding game. He is special and it will be good for baseball, not just Tiger fans.

tiger hitters dont make the pitcher work very hard. Boston and new York teams always make the pitcher work.
just to many easy outs at the plate. I heard a stat. Fielder has seen like 18 pitches in his last 12 ABs....

how about that catch Iggy made??? he is slick in the field.smart to on the diamond. BUT he has that big man swing in a little guys body

Last couple games. Tigers let Lou Whittaker,Lance parish,and jack Morris throw out the first pitch.

morris said the pitch count now adays is horse shit . and he is glad they tore down old tiger stadium..he loves comeria park.

Makes sense. So would Peralta at third. So would Prince at DH and Pena behind the plate. So would.... I just want to see Max go after hitters, and JL to take the kid gloves off and let him go. If he gets overworked, whatever! Cross that bridge when you get there. C'mon Tigers, keep the season going boys!

This series is hardly over as the tigers have the best two pitchers in the series back to back. If only their offense could hit, period. Most of the blame falls on fielder. Hes getting paid way too much money to just consistently do poorly. Pitchers arent afraid of him at all. Hes just not he scary hitter he was while in milwaukee.

Egh.... Lots of options. Anyway you want to shake it, were talking about an Avila-less lineup. So Im not really going to disagree with anyone's opinion. It's my opinion that DK's value isn't necessarily highest when he's in the starting lineup anyway.
