I don't get why it seems like every single year the offense is so subpar in the postseason.. Still got an inning to go, but so far you can look to both Anibal getting blown up and the lack of offense as the reasons for this loss if everything holds.. The BP has done its job surprisingly.. Sanchez has certainly been a disappointment..

Don't know what else to say.. Law of averages would allows the Tigers to have atleast one breakout game offensively.. It would be absolutely ridiculous for them to never get it going..

dusty s the same as JL. Players manager afraid to hurt his players feelings. Dusty in 20 years of managing has taken his teams to 1 WS.

I wonder if JL seeing what the Dodgers are doing with Kershaw will start Max on short rest for game 4 and go with JV for a game 5 in oakland. Still sets up max to go in game 2 in the ALCS. I doubt it. JL not good at actuall managing the game. See the times not running for fielder or cabby in the ninth when down by 1 fearful of not having them for extra innings. But you have to get to extra innings first.

I'd say you're crazy! He's a borderline major leaguer. Borderline great to elite defenders aren't lifted for defensive replacements. I do think he's a solid baserunner. Which is rare on this team. And why I look forward to him pinch running 14or 15 hours from now for anyone other than Iggy, Infante, Torii or Jackson.

OK, when was Dirks ever lifted for a defensive replacement? I honestly never remember this happening.

Yep. The tablesetters are equally to blame. Jackson 1-for-11 with 7 Ks. Torii 2-for-10. Prince has plenty of company in the "flop" department.

Team flop so far.....will JL go along with the same old same old hoping this will work out just because or will they shake things up...make some changes in the order move some guys around thinking someone may catch lightning in a bottle....sitting pat seems crazy there is too much talent to juust watch the same old hoping for different results. ...definition of insanity?
