Lions defense 21 sacks to lead the entire NFL. Lions offense 22 sacks to trail the entire NFL. As good as our defensive line is, our offensive line is that much worse. And it's all the exact same guys who were so good last year. (Lead the league last year?) That is 100% coaching and scheme.

Coaches want Stafford to be safe with the ball. But why would he when he's a risktaker by nature and Dan O is his backup? No accountability. No fear of being benched.

So my halftime analysis is that our defense is playing great, as expected, and our offense is still nowhere to be found.

Our o-line is doing better, but still too many breakdowns at key junctures. I'd also like to see Broyles get a look, since nobody besides Tate seems to be getting open.

Not a bad half all-in-all, but we need to make some major half-time adjustments to the offense and the blocking calls if we're going to have a chance at a W here.

It'd be a shame to waste another great effort by the D against such a good offense...

We can leave Raiola for this year, but it is senseless to keep Sims in. Let Swanson learn to make the calls by playing next to Dom. He can take over next year.

We also need ot go back to a power run blocking scheme. These guys are lost.

Not a bad half ???? Well the D did well. but we scored 3 on a long PI and a 21 yard bank shot FG. It doesn't get much worse than that on offense... well, I suppose we could have turned it over a couple more times.

Totally agree. Oline plays well offense sucks. Then oline has a couple big mistakes, everyone says theyre worst in the league. They need to clean their shit up but lets not act like Stafford is playing lights out when the line is blockin well. No mobility, either.
