Also, feel free to talk about the other games that could affect the playoff picture. I included those at the bottom of the OP so they are fair game.

lol - Yes, it's true I would like to see Columbus get in, but that doesn't mean I don't respect the heck out of the Wings and their impressive playoff streak.

Minnesota LOST today, so add

Minnesota @ Cololorado 7:30 P.M.

as another big-ass important key critical game tomorrow.

Good stuff (lol)

Did I emphasize enough just how important that game was? I may have been understating it slightly.

Also, that was a typo although I wish I had done it intentionally.

Is there any non-Red Wing fan who is not rooting for Columbus to make it over Detroit?? I would be somewhat sick for the BJs if they were to win and the Red Wings were to lose in OT or something and get the 8 spot. (assuming Minnesota wins). It would just seem unfair.

Ideally....

Wings win
Jackets win
Minne-ha-ha loses, along with their 98 mill bonus boys.

Actually, I'm rooting for the Wings to win. The BJ's worry me...always very low scoring close games with a goalie who is playing out of his mind right now.

Wings would be the best matchup for the Hawks, although I'm pretty sure the Wings get the seventh spot. Have fun with that long travel back and forth to Anaheim...and Wings fans staying up late to watch games. Wah, wah, wah. Wings don't have spectacular goaltending, although Howard is good. Wings aren't physical enough, which plays into the Hawks hands, and the Hawks have more depth up and down their lineup compared to a few Wings players that are really good in a transitional year.

Hawks would be good against the Wild. Not great goaltending for MN, but the Wild will play more physical against the Hawks, which is a problem for them. Again, Hawks have more depth 1-12 and 1-6 than the Wild has.
