You know it strikes me that with that two extra games making it so easy to break Herschel's record, why arent all RB's doing it? Seems like that extra two games would make it a cake walk. Why Dalvin Cook should've been able to do it in the same amount of games as Herschel if he's as good as everyone says he is. Wonder why he didnt do it. Why didnt McCaffrey do it? I mean its only two less games, surely its easy to do.

I am curious of one other thing. If that two extra games makes it so easy, why didnt Cook or McCaffrey break the records in their allotted games? Its two extra games, that should make it easy.
Simple. It's an SEC record.

Have they ran as many yards? That is the point. If its that simple. And i am referring to the two I mentioned specifically.
See my post about his extra 300 yds rushing on 128 extra carries. Less man 3ypc. That is pathetic. But he will undeservedly win it like Ingram did. McAffery or Reynolds ate the 2 best players in the country. Period.

Still not impressed with McAffery He played a lot of really soft defenses. And the one top 25 defense he played shit him down northwestern. Henry put up big numbers vs Wisky. I can't justify placing McAffery over Henry, Mayfield, Elliot, Reynolds or Cook for that matter. I'm going to have to just give the nod to Kessler best statsofany player with a drunk coach

Wow, you penalize a player for playing top ranked defenses versus other players playing the equivalent of FCS defenses now too? Yes Henry played an FCS defense and they took him out after he scored two TD's and had less than 100 yards. No sense in getting him hurt. Not sold on either of the players you mentioned. McCaffrey did the bulk of his yards on defenses from the lower end of the NCAA football rankings. In other words, he used an NFL caliber line to get him yards against nobodies. He paled in comparison when he did play good defenses. Its not hard to look up, if you really care to.

Lol, Mcaffery couldn't carry Henry's jock. As for Reynolds, you might have an argument for lifetime achievement award, but not for this year's heisman.

Of course his yards per carry go down as his total carries go up. Not only is he getting tired, but defenses start loading the box. I thought you were smarter than that, but I guess that is that Free shoes education showing through.

Henry: 1986 yards, 23 TD, 5.86 YPC (10 receptions, 97 yards, 0 TD)
Deshaun Watson: 287 of 413 (69.4%), 3512 yards, 30 TD, 11 INT (164 attempts for 887 yards @ 5.4 YPC and 11 TD)
McCaffrey: 1847 yards, 8 TD, 5.80 YPC (41 receptions, 540 yards, 4 TD), 1042 KOR yards, 1 TD; 2/3 for 67 yards and 2 TD throwing

Toss up IMO between Watson and Henry; McCaffrey has had a great season, but stats aren't on par, mainly total TDs.

Let's look at Henry and those rush defenses.

UF. 189 yds on 44 damn carries. Bad.
Wisc. 147 yds on 13 attempts. Good.
Ark. 95 yds on 27 carries. Bad.
LSU. 210 yds on 38 carries. So/So
Ole Miss. 127 yds on 23 carries. So/So
UGA. 148 yds on 26 carries. So/So
Tenn. 143 yds on 28 carries. So/So
In total against the top 50 rush defenses he has. 1059 yds on 199 carries. For 5.32 ypc and 12 TDs.

Now Cook against his top D's played against.
USF. 266 yds on 30 carries. Good.
BC. 54 yds on 15 carries. Bad. Also out due in 2nd half due to ankle.
Louisville. 163 yds on 22 carries. Good
Clemson 194 yds on 21 carries. Good
UF 183 yds on 26 carries. Good
NC State. 138 yds on 22 carries. So/So

Against these he had. 948 yds on 136 carries. For 6.9 ypc. And 10 TDs.

Henry isn't above and beyond better than Cook,Fournette, or Mcaffery. Sorry but look at the stats. 111 more yards on 63 carries. And this is only using top 50 rush defenses. That is horrible. That means he got almost half his yds against garbage defenses.

I forgot 1 big thing. Cook has played almost 3 full games less than Henry.2 plays against Wake then out due to Hammy. Out against Syracuse all game. Ankle and Hammy. And no CCG.
