That's strange. I wonder what the difference is? Obviously I don't think anyone would take Henry over walker. Henry must have a much better line than walker did or maybe the sec defenses were weaker compared to walkers days. Idk, maybe Henry will go on to nfl greatness. It's interesting though. Henry: 5.9 yards per carry.
Walker: 4.8 yards per carry.

Henry also has more TD's than Walker had. Walker had 20, Henry has 23(which ties the record for most in a single year for the SEC, tied with Tebow and Tre Mason.

Some people just don't want to give Henry the credit he deserves.

Derrick Henry is a beast, and he will win the Heisman as he should. But it seriously annoyed me when they kept calling him the "regular season record holder" for rushing yards in the regular season. Sorry this is just not true. He did it in 13 games, one of which is a championship game which is a POST-SEASON GAME. Hershel Walker did it in 11 games. Not saying Henry isn't good or he is undeserving of the praise, because the guy is a flat out beast, but a title game is not a regular season game.
