Report: Saints shopping cornerback Delvin Breaux

We should be interested if the price is low enough, maybe a 4th. Was one of their better defenders before he got hurt last year. Thoughts?

I think we're set now. Darby can shut down the other teams best WR, and Mills on the other side, Brooks or Graham in the slot. Add in Douglas, Smith and Jones learning behind them, and we have one of the best CB corps in the league. IMO.

The Saints haven't stopped anybody in about a decade.

Also we are running out of picks.

I appreciate your optimism Duke, but we are nowhere even close to one of the best DB corps with what we have currently, maybe average at best. We should be better than last year, that's for sure. Darby was a great pickup, I'm surprised Buffalo let him walk when they did. He's still under his rookie contract for this year and next year.

Exactly, and I'm sure that Howie will work the phones to get a 2nd round pick back. The 2018 draft has a lot of RB's coming out.

Unfortunatley, we might be looking to trade OUT of the 1st in 2018 to pickup a 2nd and 3rd round pick. In this situation, it might be smart, depending on where we pick and who is out there. I prefer quality over quantity, but the positions we need, don't have to be 1st round. We will need a RB, LB and OL. We can get that in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Lets just hope Sidney becomes the overall 1st round talent he is suppose to be. That could makeup for the loss of a 1st in 2018, while still getting a first round talent added to the starting roster.
