This year is going to be different....
We're coming for y'all, Moose!!!!You can say Mathieu and Peterson, but that's kind of cheating.
And out side of that Dallas plays Washington, while Washington plays Dallas. Oh wait a minute, I'll give you credit Dallas has a MUCH EASIER schedule. The Skins have Carolina and Ari. Probably the two best teams in the NFC. I would call that a big difference. Those two games could be huge in determining the division.
Dear Lord, get your sarcasm detector calibrated3-4 style defense. you donkey. In a 3-4 defense the OLB's get that sacks.
Agree with you that Dallas wins the divisionThe Skins have Carolina and Ari. Probably the two best teams in the NFC. I would call that a big difference. Those two games could be huge in determining the division.

His sarcasm meter, is blocked by his homer filter.Dear Lord, get your sarcasm detector calibrated
The Redskins gave up more points than the Cowboys did last year and won the division. The Cowboys dealt with the same problems last year that they will deal with this year: Injuries/suspensions to key defensive players. But even last season they still managed to have a defense on par with a divisional winner despite having absolutely one of the worst offenses in all of football and they had by far the worst turnover differential in the NFL at -22. Does it stand to reason that an offense that scores more than 17.2 ppg would help the defense? How does it help the defense when your opponents are scoring TD's?
not sure logic works, Perhaps the up coming season will shed some light. The Redskins gave up more points than the Cowboys did last year and won the division. A good offense helps your defense because a good offense scores TDs/FGs and forces the opposing team out of their comfort zone. Those kind of things lead to sacks and turnovers for the defense even if the defense isn't very good. When you know your opponent has to pass to play catch up, it's easier to guess what they will do. And I know this is just a troll remark in regards to Dallas giving up TDs, but even the worst defenses can get stops in games. This isn't college football. Teams aren't putting up 40 a week on NFL professional defenses.

only on paper pre camp....3 down back, you'll seeWhen he is in a RBBC?
Healthy this Dallas team is closer to the 2014 team vs. 2015 and the 2014 was a ball control offense. Keep talking like you have no clue, it's comedy gold.I agree with your points. But experts are saying the Cowboys are going to be a run controlled offense. If you want to play like that you must finish drives with TD's. Plus you must make teams go three and out. The Panthers did this last year and were successful. BUT the Panthers defense was one of the best in the league. I believe teams will score easily against Dallas' defense. Forcing Dallas to throw a lot to catch up. I think they are very similar to the 2015 Saints. No there defense wont be that bad but all their games will be shootouts. Romo will be slinging it again. I don't believe the run controlled BS.
Plus you have to factor in that NYG, Phil, and WASH all have upgraded defenses than last year. Well at least on paper. Now you bring Dez into the equation when he doesn't see targets he will blow a fuse. Run controlled offenses are very rare in the NFL these days. Carolina did do this last year but Dallas simply does not have the defensive talent like Carolina did to pull it off. Plus Cam running was a big factor.
I just don't buy it. Some fantasy football sites have Elliot as the 3rd best RB. How? When he is in a RBBC? I think this theory of running the ball is a huge smoke screen. To repeat what Murray did two years ago is a very tall order. He had 2200 total yards and 13Td's. If Elliot does that this year you guys can bust my chops all you want. I just cant see it. Especially in a RBBC.
and....you didn't address any of Earl's post...so typical
onward thru the burgundy & yellow Fog!
