The salary cap is just a figment of our imagination. That's just dumb money for a WR, I am sorry.
Owners must be expecting the cap to jump up to about $250 mil after next years downturn. But like @FaCe-LeE-uS said, the cap seems to be a figment of the imagination at this point.

id rather pay that, than pay sammy watkins his salary tbhThat's just dumb money for a WR, I am sorry.
Watkins is only making 9M unless he hits incentives, tbh.id rather pay that, than pay sammy watkins his salary tbh
Yeah, I am not super convinced Hopkins ages super well so I am not sure buying ultra expensive years makes sense unless this new TV deal is truly historic.I mean even for two years that is RIDICULOUS money. I get contracts will only get larger. But $22M/year for Julio to $27M/year for Hopkins is a steep jump.
Did he restructure?Watkins is only making 9M unless he hits incentives, tbh.
Yes. 9M base hit. Some incentives. 9M is pretty harmless as a cap hit for a WR with as many ups as Watkins has.Did he restructure?
Damn , I do remember now. Ya that’s more than fine.Yes. 9M base hit. Some incentives. 9M is pretty harmless as a cap hit for a WR with as many ups as Watkins has.
