There is just no reason to believe that our guys would stop trying with a 17-3 lead on the road. Controlling our own destiny to go as far as we want..........why in the hell would we give up?

Couple of bad breaks. Get down. Get yelled at, again. Quit trying.

Pretty much chronological.

But.....we didn't even have guys in place to make plays after Melvin started to break it outside.

We had the middle all plugged up and then Wisconsin said, "okay....let's bounce it outside then."

As soon as they did that, we were completely fucked.

It's just like when the jet sweep mindfucked us a couple years ago.

Our gameplan was to fill gaps........so Wisconsin said, "okay.....let's go outside."

Game over. We made no adjustments.

No way they could have known to simulate Gordons signature cut back to the edge in practice, no way

The scheme was there to stop the outside early on. Why do you think the outcomes changed? There was edge control. Some solid tackling. Something changed, and it wasn't the scheme. Wisconsin did nothing different. They blocked the same way to break the runs. It was the players. Mentally and physically. For what ever reason.

Yea, we definitely didn't see that game the same.

I saw a 1st quarter where we got a couple fumbles, and Wisconsin tested us up front. Once they realized that we weren't budging up front, they started going outside 98% of their plays. The fumbles stopped, and we had no way of getting the ball back.

It wasn't just a bunch of missed tackles. We literally didn't even have guys there to make a play.

We had our Front 7 all up plugging up the middle.....just trying to contain.......and then we had our DBs going man.

All they had to do was beat us to the outside.

You're not the coach. You don't understand the intricacies of the game. You didn't coach for years. This game is above your head. You can't cheer for them when they win.

This is just for fun, but what if Wiscy gets beat by Iowa and Minny, and Nebraska wins their last two games? I do realize that there's a better chance for Wiscy to lose their last two games, as opposed to Nebraska winning their last two games! lol

Of course I don't think I could stand to see another blowout of epic proportions against OSU in the title game! That would get REALLY ugly! Something like 77-3 OSU.
