Eh. It's the 29th pick in the first round. After his top targets went off the board it was a toss up between Watt and a few other guys who had late 1st/early 2nd round rankings. I personally would have gone another way, but he was his favorite guy out of the options he had left. And his instincts tend to be better than mine. I actually like the tape. I think Green Bay is a great fit for his skill set.

@femurov is up.

There is still a player sitting here that IMO should be a top 12 pick... Not saying he will be, but if you put on the film he should be. Actually two, but 1 of them has a reason to fall out of it.

I may have been thinking about 1 of them for the Falcons. I decided to go with the best run stuffer in the draft. There were a lot of options, which is a big reason I wanted to move down.

A couple guys are tempting to move up for at this point, but it's a deep draft. I've been considering moving up with both my teams (43 and 46) whom both have multiple 4th rounders to work with.

I have had the same thoughts....at least for one of my teams. We shall see.

Brantley was a great pick. I like him at end of round 1. Not the guy I was talking about. But I love Brantley and McDowell there at the end of Round 1.

Nearly took Bolles at pick #20.... 15 picks later he goes. I should have looked to move down, but Robinson was too good to pass on.. Almost made a deal with the Giants but thought both OT's might go inbetween.

Love Bolles. Great pick. Love his feet and his nastiness. Not sure how he'll hold up in pass protection in the NFL - I project him as a RT or LG. Very nearly took him with the Niners pick right before that, but I have Kizer as my #2 rated QB and just didn't like the way the board fell for me. If I was gong to gamble. . . I wanted a guy that I think fits Shanahan's offense long term and has upside. Didn't think he'd slip much further, so I pulled the trigger. Bolles age was also a factor for me. He's more ready for the NFL, but I think it hurts his upside. And I'm really focusing on trying to hit homeruns for a team that is desperately lacking in top end talent.

Too early to swing for home runs. Let the draft come to you. That is what round 4-7 are for.

Normally, I'd agree with you. The main reason I settled on Kaizer over my other two top ranked prospects was the value of a QB over all other positions and the fact that I have a first round grade on him. I wasn't willing to reach for a QB at #2, but it's worth the gamble at #34. Every prospect that I liked at that point had things that I didn't love about them. Went with the young, physically gifted QB with the hopes that he can develop into a franchise guy down the road.

Quincy Wilson has no business being here in the second.... I've watched this guy damn near every week of his college football career and while I might be a Florida homer (I try not to be) but this guy impressed me as much as any CB in the country this year with his tackling and cover ability....

To me he is a top 12 pick... See what happens to him in the real draft... I LOVE Quincy Wilson as a player. LOVE!!!!! I know some won't see him the way I do, but I have watched A LOT of Wilson.

Just my opinion. Not saying he will go top 12, but he should, IMO.

Count me in the group that can't understand why everyone thinks Quincy Wilson is a Day 2 guy, too. He went #12 in another mock I did and I commended the GM for picking him there.

Went to bed last night expecting to go in a different direction with this pick for the Chargers, but Watson still being there changed that. This might be the perfect situation for him, and they need to start thinking about life after Rivers and the dropoff from Watson to the rest of the QB's was gigantic compared to the guys I might still be able to get at the other position I was considering.

Ive noticed a lot of picks this year going back to back from same college. :)

Kinda ironic.

I hope to god the Chargers don't get Watson in round 2. As a Bronco fan I would hate to see that.

I'm honestly not that high on Watson. Makes a lot of terrible decisions and has a long ways to go in his development to become a decent starting QB in the NFL.

I'm not out of the roof on Watson, but I think to get him in early round 2 for a division rival is a bummer. I like him, don't LOVE him.
