Close. He's 14. Mom doesn't want him wasting a ton of time posting on sports message boards like his dad does. I'm curious to see what he does with the team this year.
That's true. I guess that I'm just old school and don't rank RB or G or ILB as high as most others. Those are the three easiest "plug and play" spots on the field. Fournette might be an impact player, but I'm just not the type to invest in that position that early. I don't have any of the RBs in my top 10.I wouldn't be surprised... RB is a dime a dozen, but Fournette doesn't come around every year... Ezekiel went #4 last year,,, and trends are common when it pays off for a team.
She's probably right. It can lead him down a dark, lonely path.Close. He's 14. Mom doesn't want him wasting a ton of time posting on sports message boards like his dad does. I'm curious to see what he does with the team this year.
That was the popular experts pick that I was referring to for Jacksonville in my earlier post. I don't see the need with Ivory and Yeldon there. They have bigger problems and should keep building that defense.Wow. I love Fournette, but I didn't see him going this early.
Great pick by San Diego. Allen was the other guy that I strongly considered taking at #2 with the 49ers. I guess there's some health concerns that might cause this exact scenario to play out. He has the potential to be the best player in the draft tbh.
That was my thoughts as well. Lots of holes for the Bolts. . . but that's a solid D line foundation. Was hoping for one of those DB's going in, but Allen is a pretty good consolation prize and will fit what Bradley likes to do on D perfectly. Him, Bosa, and Ingram? Good luck blocking that.
When I picked Solomon Thomas over him, it came down to upside and fit vs. overall talent. Allen is a supremely talented player, but I just think that Thomas has such high upside that it warranted the selection that high.A good contact of me claims the health concerns aren't a big deal... Some teams trying to put a little smoke with it hoping he will drop to them.

Was hoping one of the top safeties, Lattimore, or Howard would fall to #12 and wait to take QB in the 2nd round but I really do like Trubisky as a QB with high upside. One of the few guys I saw his eyes going through multiple reads to find the right target.
