Fitting countdown. Normally reaction would be "Really? A countdown until the draft?" But this year's crazy. Two top ten picks when we've only had 8 total that high this century.

We really sh*t the bed on most of them. The current 2nd best on the list (a legit player) demanded off the team so we only got rookie contract....4 of them were complete and utter busts. Pretty Much Urlacher and the hope for Wright to have a nice long career for us. Ouch.

William Perry......lived off his fame as part of the 85 Bears.....was a fun loving guy who still owns two dubious SuperBowl records: being the heaviest guy to score a td in the SB at 335 lbs,and to have the biggest SB ring at size 25.......

Roger Stillwell......a guy I barely remember.

Drafted in 1975,had a 4 year career with the Bears cut short because of back injuries.

Dennis Lick(another guy remember)......a 1976 1st round offensive tackle.......born and raised in Chicago,played 6 season.

Revie Sorey......a 1975 5th round draftee out of Il.....played 8seasons all with Chicago.

Jim Osborne.....dt taken in the 7th round.....played 13 years for the Bears.

Abe Gibron......played guard for 11 yrs,2 at the end of his career with the Bears.

4x ProBowler 3x NFL Champion.....

Never realized his resume,always though he was just a putz of a coach that coached the Bears in early 70s......

Clyde " Bulldog" Turner.......played 13 seasons as a HOF player all with the Bears....From 1940-1952 played on both sides of the ball his entire career. At center he was a four-time Pro-Bowler and seven-time First-Team All-Pro. At linebacker he led the league with eight INTs in 1942. He also intercepted four passes in five NFL title games.

I was always more of a Wally Chambers fan, 8th overall in 73.

Pretty amazing how one of the most important stats of today was never kept track of.

Not sure who was the worst draft pick ever for the Bears - there sadly have been so many. But for me, David Terrell has to be ranked at or near the top. God did he ever suck.
