i can see getting drowsy in a meeting or class. he is right everyone does it (if they are honest ) but man stand up , go to the back of the room , watch the film until you are "back " then take a seat again

repeat as needed

how hard is that ? seems like he has given up when the competition showed up

I wanted to draft a TE during the draft and most people were dismissing that need. I'm so happy we drafted Reed. Davis showed flashes the past few seasons but also showed his IQ. He will not be a Redskin after this season and you can bet he will be inactive the next 3 games so the bonus doesn't kick in.

I actually think there is a good chance Fred may be active at some point in the next 3 games, maybe even this Sunday. Since they didn't get a trade for him, it makes no sense to not use him at all for the rest of the year. It just doesn't seem smart to not use him at all if he's had a good week in practice and is healthy. This offense needs to assess every player and combination for play action. We need more than Jordan and Garçon making plays. If Hank, Morgan and Moss aren't stepping up, they should give Fred a shot in a game to see what he can do. I don't think the bonus is the primary factor involved.

Trust me, Shanahan has proven he can and will be deliberate when it comes to discipline. Fred will pay the price for his comments. NFL club houses are just like family homes, you don't let the inside information go outside the house which is what Fred has done. With Reed coming on so strong, the run game which will definitely be a point of focus for the team now, requires Paulsen's blocking and Niles Paul being active for Special Teams and a backup TE, there is no need for Fred anymore. Just my thinking, but I'm sure the staff sat down Morgan, Hankerson, Robinson, Moss etc this week and explained to all of them that they must step it up moving forward.

He is right!!! We dont need 4 active Te's on gameday especially the 4th TE that doesnt play special teams....That's what Fred is right now....4th on the depth chart......No need to bring him in and run formations with him to see what he can do in those situations...He WIll not be resigned with Washington, and would not sign if offered by the Skins anyway.....There is nothing to be gained from the Skins standpoint to activate him on gamedays right now...

Sounds like while Fred has improved, Shanny wants to see that as a consistent trend, not just 2 weeks worth. I'm good with that criteria, regardless how much I want to see 2 TE receiving sets.

Agree with the 2 TE receiving sets....however...paulsen can get open...can catch the ball....We have seen it this year, and especially last year....he is a better blocker for sure....but we can run 2 TE receiver sets with Reed and paulsen.....which would be a good thing as they would expect Paulsen to stay in and block!!!

the issue with davis and reed is blocking . when both are in then teams think pass
