This has nothing to do with anything...but man, its crazy how the Pacers would be serious contenders in the East had they just kept all of that team from a couple years ago together.

It's funny because I was thinking the same thing. Some things to consider though:

- Did Vogel kind of keep Lance in check before his stock plummeted after leaving the Pacers?
- What the hell happened to Hibbert? Does he rebound performance-wise under Vogel?

You probably thought Antoine walker and Iverson were doing just fine as well...They had 100M dollars and now look at them....

60% of NBA players end up broke by 40...75% by 50....So you have almost an 8/10 chance of ending up broke and think it's a good idea to turn down 11 million dollars lol....Even winning a ring isn't worth going broke, go check ebay for how many old pros are selling their shiny nba ring...I am dropping knowledge in here...Accept it and move on

Apples to oranges. Walker and Iverson had their respective entourage that they blew large sums of money on. Had you done any research on this, you'd be able to come to the assumption that West has been responsible with his money over the years.

West: Pay cut to join Spurs 'a calculated decision'

But yeah, research isn't for everyone.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect it of this Lebron fanboy. Of course, many professionals go broke. Many don't though. West appears to be doing just fine.

Interesting article, definitely calculated wrong where he says that Cleveland and Golden State offered him more $.
