RB Javid Best was a stud at Cal till he got concussed, he never recovered and never really played a meaningful game in the pro's even though he was drafted.

I hope Darlington makes a full recovery, however I fully understand if he doesn't

I think he was eluding to it being a mutually beneficial move. Zack gets to go to school and still work toward getting on the football field while in the care of folks who have devoted their working lives to concussion prevention, care and treatment. The research folks then have someone to work with who has sustained multiple concussions under circumstances they are particularly interested in..... at least thats what I took Brasky to mean.

They watch them a lot closer than they used to. A lot depends on the level of concussion. Being knocked out is obviously on the severe side.

The brain does not heal itself well.

I suffered a severe concussion in 2011.....non-sports related.........very much alcohol related....

Anyways, 3 months later I went skiing.....and here's a news flash for you all....I am not good at skiing. I ended up turfing out and it wasn't a bad fall, but I suffered a 2nd concussion anyways.

It seemed as though the 1st concussion definitely enabled an easy 2nd one for me.

Hits like that happen every Thursday night when HS freshmen play. I don't know why everyone (I'm talking about media) is saying it was the big hit. If it was the hit that did it, he shouldn't play anymore. It was clearly his head slamming onto the ground.

My advice take it easy this year he will be redshirted his freshman year so he has like two years to he will be in serious competition Nebraska wise.
