Apparently - I don't follow the Broncos close enough to remember what happened with his season - he was getting snaps early in the season - and then it's like the Broncos decided to red-shirt him. I wonder if the Broncos are going to make him a DE this year.

Help me out if you know what is going on with him?

I don't know. But he was one of the 7 Inactives for the last half of the season. I thought he might contribute more in the rotation, but I'm sure it was a learning year.

What's strange is the amount of playing time all the other rookies got -yet he wasn't injured and he was kept on the top 53 - I think he is a hidden asset - and can play all along the interior.

Well with Wolf back he was not needed .. He is pretty much a NT from what I seen .

Sly held up all season ..this a good thing .. Walker was the back up and Kilgo was emergence ..

Sly looks to be our new starting DE so Kilgo at worst is now back up to Walker ..

I don't think Sly is moving over to DE.

I am pretty sure he did the first 4 games .. Also Sly was a more penetrating DT in college .. guy has a nice burst when he whips it out .

Crash is correct here, with Wolfe being suspended the first 4 games, Kilgo saw more playing time
..

I liked when we drafted him, and I recall him holding up his end of the job when he played - as a rookie

To me Kilgo will become an important rotation piece this next year. Every draft pick has somebody pounding the table for them when we draft them and for Kilgo that guy was Kollar. He loved what he saw on tape of this kid and my guess is he is pushing him just a bit more to make sure he shows he is justified when he goes to Elway and says "Draft this kid!"

On another note I was listening to the radio and they were talking about this subject of who pounded the table for certain draft picks.

Von Miller had Matt Russell the director of player personnel. I guess they were really torn between about 4 players in that draft but Russell kept telling the rest of them louder and louder how we would regret not taking this kid.

Ronnie Hillman had John Fox being his voice in the decision.

Jack Del Rio was the guy for Lamin Barrow. Those are the main ones they discussed.
