If the skins went cook or Mixon at 17 I would have no problem. I think next year is a wash. They let too many key guys including Scot get away. I'm BPA now. Get guys that will have an impact. We are no where near close enough to draft for need.

I'm not going to sit here and say I know a lot about either prospect but when I did see Cook, I doubt poor agility is going to severely drop his draft stock. He was the FSU offense, I have no idea who they had at QB or WR.

I'd say Cook is dropping like a fly, but I'm not sure that flies drop in the same manner. He might drop more like a rock - yeah, I'll go with that. Either way, I think Cook drops out of the first round.

Metaphorically, it's not a good idea to use "dropping like a rock" on someone with his fumbling issues!:D

This kid is running a 4.49 has excellent vision and hands, he can block.
I'm willing to bet he didn't get himself in the proper shape for the combine. Agility and acceleration can easily be improved upon in camp. Based on what teams need, I'd be shocked if he didn't go in the first, even if McCaffery went before him.

RB in the first round is a bad idea. Worse if you know next season will be a wash. That's just wasting one of the few years you can get any value from them anyway.

I'm not dead set on RB at 17, but if RB is far and away the BPA I'd do it.

If you are going to use the BPA model then I think offensive players aviable at 17 will trump the defense. The top 3 Wr and top 3 Rb are better than any defensive player that would be there for us at 17. Exceptions of Foster and maybe Reddick

Yet Mixon didn't even get an invite from the NFL combine. Now all of sudden "scouts" are more worried about Cook.

It's the 2nd round for Cook - Matt Miller from the Bleacher Report says so

If anybody should be excited over this blatant misinformation -- it should be cleveland. They would be the only team that could immediately benefit from someone like Cook dropping.

Really want reddick or foster. If not BPA is my pick. It just might be a RB

We're picking Foster. We'll be the first team with starting ILB's having the same last name. Marketing will come up with ideas like The Skins defense is brought to you by Fosters. Young Skins fans will be called Foster children. Well, we might be getting a little ahead of ourselves there.

Brings to mind the Mann and Manley DE combo. No? Ok. Chuck Barris, give me the gong and RIP.
