Why is that though? I understand it's common for picks to gain value closer and closer to the draft but this should be a loaded draft class. Now is the chance to buy cheap.

That could be, but I'm still evaluating my team at this point. I've got a lot of young guys supposedly with upside...I wanna get a better grasp on things, see who might be a hit, a miss, or a longer term project.

Is anybody in this league actually high on draft Picks?

Gave it the ol'college try.
Chopped some 1st round draft picks up and snorted them, came down too hard. Cooked up a couple 2nd rounders and shot those up, couldn't remember what day it was. 3rd round picks got rolled into a big fat blunt, but Josh and Johnny came over and it didn't even make it around the circle. Took the 4th rounders in a pill at Ibiza, that's the route to go if you really want to get high on draft picks.

Side note - if a deal involves me giving up a player under 25yrs old, that I've seen play vs NFL defenses, I'm probably keeping the known commodity over the unknown potential. Might be different once the season gets going

This sums it up, I think. As to getting high on draft picks, it's those damn 3rd rounders that always sneak up on ya.

here is my thoughts about it...

your giving WR1- best talent in trade by far, but on a team that might not be big passing
TE- don't like him at all, he is a throw in...

I give up..

WR, not as good talent but on team that will likely be a top 5 passing team this season... and is likely the WR1...
TE- all future, could be something...

really, not sure about it...LOL...

Yeah the TE was just to keep from having to cut someone you like, you can always drop him. I'm giving up the best player and I know you always like getting the best player. Consider this trade offer a test...putting your money where your mouth is. I'm certainly doing that.
