Well, I thought this was a done deal since I read about it in a few different places. Seems like we let word get out too early and someone claimed Price. Nothings a secret on this team

I am not too terribly surprised they kept Rico.
I dont think he did enough to stay on the 53, but when Jerry talks him up. You know Jerry ain't ready to admit making a mistake yet. I look at it as Rico is on the team because of Jerry's ego, not because of Rico's play (mismatch or otherwise)

actually I agree with not just getting another scrub back up to replace our scrub back up.
Just a waste of resources unless you find a quality back up QB that is gonna be there for multiple years. Other than that "love the ones your with"
I dont think Rush or any other 3rd QB will be on the 53 by seasons end anyways. So why replace him? Now they might find someone for the practice squad, but that doesnt affect the 53.

I think both Rush and White could win a game or two if Dak went down. It's a whole lot easier to play when Chaz Green isn't acting like the windmill on a miniature golf course on your right side...

I think if Dak goes down for any time we dont make the playoffs. Also I dont think Rush will end up #2.

I don't. Rush's noodle arm wouldn't stand a chance. He is ten years of experience from being sucky Matt Cassell. White has the arm, but he is two years with a clipboard away

Rush is the same guy he was last year, but with another year under his belt. He did not play well at all in the preseason, but the team sees him every single day so to me that means something when so many other options are available and they aren't pursuing them. Perhaps they are playing it on the down low and looking to upgrade, but I don't get that feeling. Garrett of all people knows the importance of a backup QB. The way I see it (a guess of course), they either trust Rush, will have someone else in here by this weekend or think White is ready and are just holding onto Rush a little longer to make sure and will drop him when Irving comes back.

We lost out on Price so now we are not putting Datone Jones on IR and are instead keeping him on the active roster. Interesting move. I guess he was never hurt that badly and they were looking to stash him. Seems we outsmarted ourselves here. We tried to keep both and ended losing one. Was someone going to claim an injured marginal player like Jones? Or maybe he only stays on the 53 until we need that spot and then he goes to IR which would make me ask why not just move him now and put someone on the roster that can contribute. Oh well, not going to worry about spot #53 as it isn't going to make or break our season...

I don't get why we even brought price back to begin with. Just not a difference maker.

I understand keeping Rico as I am not impressed with the other 3 TE. Rico can at least be a good red zone threat. He will score touchdowns if he ever gets a chance

I just don't see a team ever signing Irving to a big contract. He has a ton of baggage and can't be trusted. Irving is a beast though
