My short list of possible roster causalities (in order of likelihood of who I think is most in danger):Manaea added to 40. That puts the 40 at 41, so there will have to be a corresponding move coming before the Manaea signing becomes official.
Imho, put La Stella at the top of that list.My short list of possible roster causalities (in order of likelihood of who I think is most in danger):
Yajure
Santos
Diaz
Beck
Long
Beck may be of my own wishes. He did not look good at Richmond last year and is 26 years old (I think). Not sure why they felt the need to protect. And some teams do let guys go after the R5 draft. We are talking about FZ, too.Imho, put La Stella at the top of that list.
And I don’t expect Beck to be on that list. If they thought he was in danger of the R5, he would absolutely be in danger of a simple DFA claim.
I have added both Manaea and Stripling, even though neither are “official” yet. 2 players will need to be removed when these moves are made official.
We have spoken in the past that the media either doesn’t care about these ”paperwork” moves, or the league is just not interested in keeping people informed about them. The fact that Yajure has already passed waivers tells me that he was dfa'd before Stripling was signed and possibly before Manaea's signing was even leaked to the press. Not enough time to pass waivers and get sent outright in one day.![]()
Giants Outright Miguel Yajure
The Giants passed former Yankees and Pirates righty Miguel Yajure through waivers unclaimed. They'll keep him. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.www.mlbtraderumors.com
Yes, but MLBTR indicates that this was in correspondance to the Stripling signing, that was just made official. Either the team is lying or MLBTR is just making a lazy assumption. We have spoken in the past that the media either doesn’t care about these ”paperwork” moves, or the league is just not interested in keeping people informed about them.

We still need 2 spots…Now I think LaStella is gone.
He fits the mold. A player coming off injury to rebuild his resume. Prob is, he is a hitter. That strategy has only worked for pitchers thus far.I spoke Stripling into existence this morning; Correa this afternoon.
ahem, BRING ME CONFORTO
