Canha added to 40 and 26, though I doubt he will officially be added to the 26 until tomorrow earliest.

Both Blake Sabol and David Villar are on the RiverCats' roster, showing as "Not yet reported" for their status. Guess we know who the Giants are making room for Canha and Encarnacion. Really would rather have Villar for a more extended look than Canha.

I do not understand the Canha trade. I don’t give a shit about Silva, I just don’t like adding Canha.

FZ doing what FZ loves, churn. And it gives a thinly veiled impression that the team isn't giving up by getting reinforcements. And yes, its dumb.

Some of it has to be the fact that Canha played for BoMel before.
And, as unsentimental as FZ is, he seems to love him his BA-raised players.

Even if many of them are Tinker Belles.

So Hill hits pretty much in line with what he was doing prior to the Giants claiming him and plays decent center field, yet they don’t shift Ramos to left and play Hill there instead on days he started and then bump him off the roster. Were the Giants expecting him to post .800 plus offense and decided to drop him when he played to his norm for the year?

I noticed that defensive configuration as well. And didn’t understand it at all.

I am not against DFAing Hill, but I thought he performed relatively decently since joining the team. But getting upset either way just isn’t worth any brain bandwidth.
