The “hiding him” thing was not my opinion. I heard someone propose it as a possibility. I don’t really have an opinion on the topic. I guess I would rather see what he can do, trade value be damned. But I also trust that the FO has more info than me, so they will make their decisions based on factors I have no idea even exist.

I trust them too, but I really don't think there's something in there that's going to completely expose him in one month. Judge hit .179 in September 2016 before finishing 2nd in MVP voting in 2017 in his first full year. Not all teams extensively scout the lower-levels or international guys, but all teams scout the AAA level.

I don't really see a downside to it.

I have solid hopes that Duggar will be okay. It was his non-throwing shoulder, and back shoulder in the box, both good signs.

Shows how much I tuned out last year.... Ryder played in 53 games for the Giants in 2017. I knew he was up there for some time, but not that long.
