Wandy didn't pitch bad for his first start in a long time. The bats need to wake up soon.

Granted neither have the Cards and Reds started hitting yet.
To put in another perspective Hits: Pirates 14, Bonafacio 11, Reds 9, Cards 8.

Wandy pitched better than his result, too, today. He at least gave us a chance, though.

Cutch starting cold isn't helping matters offensively, though.

We get both of em soon, we play in division till the last 2 games of the month.

The other thing hurting McCutchen is the fact that no one will pitch to him until Alvarez and Martin make them pay. But when Veras had to pitch to himhe didn't look good.

Maybe I had too much to drink.

It hit the catchers glove. There is a replay angle where the bat and ball path are parallel to each other, and the ball is 3 inches below the bat.

I'm not sure why replay is blown so much. It's a big part of why I've never been in favor of it. They can never put together a seamless process that works in a timely fashion and is correct at an almost perfect rate. What that process would be, I have no idea, but luckily I'm not in charge of coming up with it.

Obviously it's early and hopefully the kinks will be ironed out in this system.
