Yeah, I think that is probably accurate. Just saying something to abate constant calls and rumors most likely. Good move by him to get it out there before training camp starts, whatever the message. Hope he is feeling better.

I'm hoping the news is good! I can handle him saying that he's not going to be ready for the beginning of the season, which seems like a forgone conclusion right now.

I just don't want to hear things that put his availability into an even more unknown.

Nothing more than an update,to put a few rumours to rest.
All he's been doing is skating.

First,he needs to get into practices with contact,and then everyone can go from there.
