I'm just not letting Bell go until I have another RB that I can rely on. I do plan on dealing Green eventually, just hopefully for a solid RB

well, you've gotta put this in perspective..how many RB's out there can be considered "reliable" this year? There aren't very many. And of all of those, just how high up the list is L. Bell? Even though it's a short list, he's towards the bottom of it. So asking for a reliable back in return for him, is really asking too much if you expect the other team to add something of any value to the deal as well.
As part of a bigger deal involving Green? yeah you should expect a reliable back, but your addition of Bell is really to get you a decent WR to fill Green's shoes, the reliable RB is more comparable to Greens value, not Bells

Assuming I'm reading this exchange correctly-
I think your trading partner would've been wise to accept the final offer (if it is truly a 3-4 deal)
Deal 3? ehh..seems okay, but your hoping for a RB to deal AJ right?
Deal 2? Fair deal if that lesser WR on your side is pure waiver fodder..Gordan is nearly as valuable as Bell on his own.
and Deal 1 I think you should've just taken to start with, granted I"m not a big believer in Stevie Johnson, but I think i'd rather have Douglas, and Royal is purely an all or nothing play on any given week regardless of match-up..and usually it's nothing. Given your scoring rules, I'd bank on 7 catches or 100 yds from Douglas before I would from either Stevie or Royal and all 3 are crap shoots in scoring TD's

There is nothing there.

Deals 1 and 3 were reasonable, but he wants a good RB and you don't have one to give. Time to move on.

Any RB that has a chance at 20 carries is a reliable RB in my league. Points are hard to come by. Other than tds, a RB has to have 20 carries for 3 pts or 100 yds for 3, bonus points are awarded by 1 pt for each additional 5 carries & each additional 25 yds.... WRs are 3 pts for 7 catches, 3 for 100 & 4 pts for a td. Touches are at a premium in my league so its probably closest to PPR in scoring.

It all started with me trying to deal Johnson & Royal for Douglas so that I could plug Douglas right into my lineup. Every week I wonder about Johnson & Royal hasn't played once (picked him up after his torrid start)

I mentioned to him that I was considering shopping Green after this upcoming week (need him while Marshall is on bye) and he started going nuts with combos to get him now. I would have been ok with getting 2 guys who I could start right away but he was only willing to do that with Gordon & Hopkins. I WOULD have done that but I didn't want to this week with Hopkins being on a bye.
