Crap...Bryz to Philly

I'm just worried about how bad the Flyers are going to hamstring themselves here. I want Bryz to sign hear very badly but I don't want to team to be ripped off. I guess you can't have it both ways. Cup or bust!

I definitely don't feel like Bryzgalov will make outrageous demands now that he has the opportunity to play for a team that is constantly striving to win a Cup and nearly did so in 2010 with mediocre goaltending.

I expect this team to be in the eastern conference finals next season with or without Bryz. Every other year in the playoffs we make a serious run. That means April/May/June 2012 is our time. Therefore, his best shot at another Cup is with us next season. No amount of money can make up for that.

For some players, you are absolutely correct.
For others, you couldn't be more wrong.

We'll see which side Bryz lands on.

I'm pretty sure he'll ask for fair market value and get it.

Keep in mind the salary he made last year as well...he'll probably want an increase and he was making 4.25 million. No way he takes a cut. So I'd start from there as far as numbers go. God speed...that's not gonna be easy.

No but look at last year. We let Hamhuis walk without overpaying so went traded for Meszaros. He was a stud this year.

But for what now? Bernier is no longer needed.
I like Simmonds and Schenn (I have never eaten a meal with Schenn though) but I could see that being the base for a trade. Not liking it, but Kings could use a 35 goal scorer and they like taking ex Flyers.
