i can't imagine there's a lot of guaranteed money in play here. could just be a safety valve for us and a guy to provide some competition to a rookie, Robinson, Spillman, or perhaps another FA.

It's worth it to him to sign bc he comes to a great D that will at the very least make him look better than he is in preseason so that maybe he can catch on with another team. I bet he wasn't getting any interest from other teams considering all the safeties that are in this draft. I'm very interested to see the terms of this deal...it may just be like a Madieu Williams signing...his 1M contract put the heat on Goldson to sign with us in 2011

we signed a guy to a three year contract and right now i have no idea how much money we gave him or what his role on the team will be so im going to assume that he signed a 3 year 36 million dollar contract and has been carved in stone as the starting free safety and there is no way we can address safety now because we have whitner Dahl Spillman and Robinson so we cant get a fifth safety in the draft or free agency and trent balkkee is a fucking idiot and i hate this team and i hate punctuation and capital letters
