Hated the use of timeouts when a 1st down was still possible, but that's a moot point. What a horrible roughing the passer call. And to kill a team's playoff hopes with that call. Unbelievable.

He hit him in the head. It was the correct call and HAD to be called. It's the rule, like it or not it is. It was the correct call.

The guy shouldn't have been so stupid. You have to know the rules and the situation.

It was a shoulder/low helmet hit and he had a defender pretty much between him and the QB. And nor was it a hard hit. There was little else that could be done. If a QB gets sacked and his head gets hit as he goes down or is on the ground, it's typically not called. The refs can use their discretion.

Hit jumped and hit him in the face mask. Easy call. It's going to be called every time, especially against a marquee QB. He didn't have to hit him that high. It sucks for them, but that is the rule and the absolutely correct call. Even the Cowboys fans I'm talking too said it was.

It may have been by the rules, but in that situation, it should be a no call. You just can't have that call decide a team's season. It's a matter of time until it evolves kind of like PI has evolved. Refs use their judgement. It's just a shame it hasn't to this point.

It was a penalty, it should always be called when it happens. To not call a penalty because of when in the game it occurs is a dishonor to the game. It is allowing teams to get away with something they couldn't normally. Teams would start to take advantage of that.

The only dishonor to the game is tapping a QB's helmet and getting called for roughing the passer. In any situation.
