Personally I don't care if they never celebrate. Canadian hockey players make a habit of scoring big goals and not dancing about.

But this herb rule is flat out stupid, especially given what I said about the booze and the other painkillers that are all AOK.

Good to see the league wasting more of its talent.

It's players wasting their talent on drugs, you can see it in every day life. Some toke to much, others drink to much. Don't blame it on the rules, they are only there to try to save the players from their vices, alas rules can only help so much.

Plenty of employers do drug screening and for a lot less money. Lets say the average NFL career is 5 years, and you could put enough to retire in early 30's, why cant you put that shit down for those 5 years, or you can be like Ricky Williams, give up Millions and go smoke dope in a 3rd world country. Sure booze and Painkillers are worse and more destructive , but these guys sign CBAs
